We will show you samples from quality suppliers like TrusJoist, Delta, Anderson, Alcoa, Yorktown Cabinets and Bruce. We’ll guide you through the process, offering our insight into the pros and cons of each option, letting you have the final say in what goes into your new home.
How long will it take?
It all depends on your floor plan. To build a quality custom home, it can take anywhere between 4 and 16 months. The larger the floor plan, the longer it will take … but it’s worth the wait.
Will I have to find an architect?
We want to make building you new home as simple as possible. We will make arrangements for you to meet with our architect or our in house design staff who will take the time to listen to your needs and who will design a home around your vision.
What if I have my own plans?
We can build from our plans, as we do frequently, and also make any desired changes to the blueprints to fit your needs.
Where can I build my home?
Though we specialize in waterfront homes, Chesapeake Bay Homes will build your new house anywhere you like in Maryland or Delaware and, if you don’t already own property, we will connect you with a professional who will help you acquire the right property on which to build.
How much will it cost?

What if I dont own a building lot?
We have an inventory of lots available. Depending on your desired location to build your new home; Also, through our Real Estate Company parther they will find a building parcel for your location and budget.
What about a Warranty?
Our relationship doesn’t end after we hand you the keys. Our service and warranty are handled in-house by our professional staff. Warranty items such as structural interior / exterior , furnishes and systems (plumbing , electrical, HVAC) are all followed by local state and material guidelines setup by the building and legal statues. These are all attached as part of your proposal and contract, and includes

- 2 Year limited warranty on systems in home
- 5 Year limited warranty on structural
